A celebration of homegrown talent, Wekino With is a selection curated by Note (design studio) that reflects both the rich heritage of craft in our region and the vibrancy of the modern metropolis.

Now We Are
We’re happy to announce the launch of our inaugural WEKINO WITH collection: a series of eight product collaborations with six outstanding design talents. To celebrate this exciting new chapter, we’re introducing the collection to our community with an immersive exhibition installed in our showroom. NOW WE ARE aims to showcase the initial results of WEKINO WITH — and to chart WEKINO’s journey as we evolve into a dynamic international brand.
위키노가 새롭게 선보이는 WEKINO WITH의 첫 시작을 공식적으로 발표함과 해당 결과물들을 "Now We Are"라는 전시 기획을 통해 소개합니다.
본 전시 기획은, 위키노가 그동안 지켜왔던 친근한 브랜드로서의 정체성을 보다 더 깊이 있게 확립하며, 그와 동시에 국제적인 브랜드로 나아가기 위한 발판으로 짧지 않은 시간 동안 면밀하게 준비되고 있는 WEKINO WITH, 바로 그 첫 번째 결과물들을 솔직하고 분명하게 소개하기 위함입니다.

Stout Chair
by Studio PesiDesigned by STUDIO PESI, the STOUT collection comprises a dining chair and armchair constructed from powder-coated tubular steel. With its curved components and high level of craftsmanship, STOUT offers a balance between robust materiality and elegant form. As the name implies, this sturdy seating option brings durability and comfort to a variety of commercial spaces including cafes and restaurants — as well as dining spaces at home.
STUDIO PESI가 디자인한 STOUT는 다이닝 체어와 암 체어로 구성된 의자 컬렉션입니다. 철제로 제작된 Stout는 강한 내구성을 지닌 소재와 우아한 형태가 균형을 이루고 있어, 높은 공예적 완성도를 가지고 있습니다. 단면이 타원으로 만들어진 등받이와 등받이에서부터 뒷다리까지 이어지는 부드러운 곡선이 특징인 Stout는 주변 공간 속에 따뜻함과 활력을 부여해 줍니다. 이름이 가진 뜻처럼, ‘통통하고 튼튼한’ Stout는 특유의 내구성과 편안함으로 가정의 다이닝 공간뿐만 아니라 카페나 레스토랑 등 다양한 상업공간과 어우러집니다.

Oddly Rug
by Studio WordThe bold design featured in the richly tactile ODDLY rug was inspired by a Joseon-era painting of strange, amorphous rock shapes. With a three-dimensional composition and an unpredictable, irregular pattern of both jagged lines and sweeping curves, the inviting color combinations pop when encountered across the varying levels of the carpet.
ODDLY RUG의 대담한 디자인은 기이한 형상의 바위를 그린 조선시대의 회화에서 영감을 받았습니다. 선과 곡선의 예측이 어려운 불규칙한 패턴과 색 조합에 단차를 두어 입체적인 구성을 하였습니다.

Chroma Mirror
by Studio Cha ChaCHROMA is an art object and mirror inspired by a patchwork wrapping cloth — a vibrant example of traditional Korean craftwork created by weaving together colorful scraps of leftover fabric. In addition to wrapping or transporting objects, these useful cloths were sometimes hung on walls and used as kaleidoscopic interior decorations. CHROMA is a contemporary take on an object that combines the functional (mirror) with the pleasurable (art).
CHROMA는 조각보를 감싼 천에서 영감을 받은 예술품이자 거울입니다. 조각보는 색색의 남은 천 조각을 함께 엮어 만든 한국의 전통 공예품입니다. 물건을 포장해서 이동하는 기능 외에도 벽에 걸어 인테리어 소품으로 사용되기도 했습니다. CHROMA는 기능(거울)과 즐거움(예술)을 결합한 오브제에 대한 현대적 해석입니다.

Reel Hanger

The aluminum body gives the hooks just the right amount of weight and strength, while the texture of the sand casted surface mimics the tactile feeling of a handmade ceramic. Book Worm
by Kuo DuoFor BOOK WORM, KUO DUO imagined a fluid, organic line. The product can store and display reading material, or function as an art object in its own right. Like the REEL HANGER, BOOK WORM is crafted using aluminum sand casting. The material’s texture and weight grounds the product when placed on a shelf or table, while making it easy to display items ranging from slender LPs to hefty publications.
BOOK WORM은 직선과 직각의 책, 선반들 사이에서 자유로운 곡선이 흐르는 장면을 상상하며 디자인한 북엔드입니다. 책을 어떻게 놓는지에 따라 다양한 연출이 가능하며, 책 없이도 오브제의 기능을 합니다. REEL HANGER와 마찬가지로 알루미늄으로 제작된 BOOK WORM은 고유의 질감과 무게감은 선반이나 테이블 위에서 중심을 잡아줌과 동시에, 가벼운 LP부터 두꺼운 책들까지 디스플레이할 수 있습니다.

Pirouette Shelf
by Kwangho LeeBased on a prototype produced by KWANGHO LEE in partnership with Phaidon Press in 2015, PIROUETTE has now been reimagined as a shelving collection reflecting WEKINO's distinctive creative philosophy. In the new collaboration, the role of the object has been maximized to offer diverse compositions including two-tier and three-tier options. Just like its new name, PIROUETTE is a flexible, multifunctional shelving system suited to all sorts of spaces.
PIROUETTE는 2015년 이광호와 뉴욕에 위치한 PHAIDON 출판사의 협업을 통해 제작한 프로토타입 선반을 토대로 하여, WEKINO만의 독창적인 철학이 반영된 새로운 모습으로 재탄생되었습니다. 2단, 3단, 사이드 테이블 등 기존보다 다양한 구성과 쓰임새를 갖는 오브제의 역할 또한 극대화하였습니다. PIROUETTE의 이름처럼 자유롭고 다양한 쓰임새를 상상할 수 있는 제품으로 모든 공간에 잘 어울리는 선반입니다.
